First up, live illustration battle outfit Secret Walls is returning to Miami Art Basel. What's an illustration battle? Well, two illustrators (or two teams of illustrators) have 90 minutes to use black marker to turn white walls into art, and judges pick the winners. Check out this video to see how it went down last year.

Next, meet L.A.-based American-French-Tunisian-Mexican street artist Kai. Fans will get to see some unseen original works, ask questions and buy customized merchandise. There will also be a hosted bar and the chance to get tattooed with Kai’s original “IF” character.

Local Art Club is much as it sounds: a chance to focus on local talent during a time when much of the spotlight is directed toward more well-known international artists. Indulge in a live art show in the heart of Wynwood, meet the artists, and enjoy house music and a full bar.

Finally, join the free opening reception of acclaimed post-disciplinary artist Damon Davis' exhibition, "Darker Gods in The Garden of The Low Hanging Heavens." Using sound, photography, film, illustration and written word, Davis explores the function of narrative and its effects on identity and belief systems in communities of color.
